Evan has dedicated the past four years to training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu consistently, practicing five days a week to refine his skills and deepen his understanding of the art.
His teaching background is diverse, having tutored academic subjects, instructed skating and hockey skills (privately and with Ice Dreams Skating Academy), and coached tennis (both privately and at the Veneto Tennis Club). Growing up, Evan’s time was split between competitive hockey and classical piano training, which instilled valuable skills like confidence, discipline, and problem-solving.
With a deep passion for the science of healthy living and university education in kinesiology, Evan quickly realized that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would be central to his personal and professional growth. What stands out most, however, is his dedication to working with young people, seeing BJJ as a powerful tool to teach life lessons and foster personal development. As a mentor, Evan thrives on helping others build confidence, resilience, and discipline through BJJ, using his own journey to inspire and guide the next generation of martial artists.
