Leslieville BJJ Membership Pause Policy

At Leslieville BJJ, we understand that life happens. Our Membership Pause Policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness to all Members.

Included Pause Time

Each Membership Agreement includes a limited amount of complimentary pause time during the initial Agreement Term:

• 12 Month Agreement: Up to 2 months total.
• 6 Month Agreement: Up to 1 month total.

Any approved pause period will be added to the end of your Agreement so that you receive the full benefit of the Membership you purchased.

Requesting a Pause

To be eligible for a pause:

• Pause requests must be submitted in writing before the requested pause date.
• All pause requests are subject to approval by Leslieville BJJ.
• Retroactive pauses will not be approved.
• Memberships with an outstanding balance or accounts in default are not eligible for a pause until all payments are brought current.

Additional Pause Requests

Once the complimentary pause time included with your Agreement has been used, any additional pause requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are entirely at the discretion of Leslieville BJJ.

If an additional pause is approved, the following administrative fees will apply:

• $50.00 Pause Administration Fee
• $50.00 Reactivation (Restart) Fee

Approval of one additional pause does not guarantee approval of future pause requests.

Important Information

• Membership fees reserve your place at Leslieville BJJ and support the continued operation of the Academy.
• Pausing your Membership extends your Agreement by the length of the approved pause.
• Choosing not to attend classes without an approved pause does not suspend your Membership or payment obligations.
• Leslieville BJJ reserves the right to request reasonable supporting documentation for pause requests based on medical or exceptional circumstances.

Our goal is to apply this policy consistently and fairly while recognizing that genuine situations can arise. If you believe your circumstances require special consideration, please contact us in writing, and we will review your request.
